The BFC and the Field Support Team joined forces to organize a two-part series to deepen our understanding of the far right and develop strategies to counter the right in our organizing on the ground.
The first session will provide an overview of the far right, helping us understand some of the different ideologies, key players, and motivations of white supremacists, white nationalists, authoritarians, and more. In the second session, you will have an opportunity to share what you’ve been experiencing from opposition forces, and discuss what is needed to develop effective strategies to counter right-wing attacks.
We will be joined by Scot Nakagawa, senior partner at Change Lab. Scot is a political strategist and writer who has spent more than four decades exploring questions of structural racism, white supremacy and social justice. His work has focused on the fight against authoritarianism, white nationalism, and Christian nationalism.
