Community Change and the Black Freedom Collective invite you to our second annual Taking Power Summit August 24-25. The summit brings together Black Freedom Collective partners, Black leaders, organizers, thought leaders, creatives and allies. This year’s theme is around the resilience of Black people in America in the time of the pandemic. As the impact of Covid-19 continues to perpetuate existing socio and economic disparities in the country, Black communities are being hit the hardest. Through this, Black led organizations persist to push forward to create safer communities for Black families. The Summit offers a space to lean into some of the most salient issues Black people are facing at this moment including the threat to voting rights and the jobs crisis.
